Christine and Éric Nicolas created the Domaine de Bellivière in 1995 in the commune of Lhomme, Sarthe. After accompanying them, their son Clément and his wife Laure-Anne took over full management of the estate in 2021. They manage 18 hectares of vines that have been certified organic since 2008 and biodynamic since 2011. The estate is planted with Chenin (white) and Pineau d'Aunis (red). In 2016, to cope with the all-too-regular frost problems, they created a trading arm, Les Arches de Bellivière.
