Domaine Cartaux-Bougaud
39140 ARLAY

Gault&Millau's review
The first harvest at Domaine Cartaux-Bougaud took place in 1973 on a plot of just 20 ares in Arlay. The first plantings took place two years later, but it wasn't until the 1980s that Anne-Marie Bougaud and Guy Cartaux devoted themselves entirely to wine. In 1993, their children, Nathalie and Sébastien, took over and modernized the business. Sébastien Cartaux now cultivates 20 hectares, half of which are AOC Étoile. He also produces Côtes-du-Jura, Crémant du Jura and Jura specialties such as Vin Jaune, Vin de Paille and Macvin. The estate has been certified organic since 2022.
