Didier Doué
10300 MONTGUEUX
Champagnes

Gault&Millau's review
The house is located in the village of Montgueux, just a few kilometers from the city of Troyes, on a limestone terroir prized for the quality of the Chardonnays it produces. Winegrowers for five generations, the Doués are among the finest champagnes in the area. A 90% Chardonnay blend, certified organic viticulture, parcel-by-parcel vinification, disgorging without chilling and a photovoltaic installation are all practices that optimize wine quality and ecology. Very much in the Montgueux style, the wines combine elegance and freshness, and the current range of parcel-based cuvées is particularly interesting.
