Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
The 8.6-hectare vineyard benefits from a unique terroir. Here, the Marne River brings moisture to the lower part of the valley, and a thick morning fog blankets the vines before the sun shines on the south-facing slopes. This unique characteristic, combined with the richness of the soils, creates an ideal environment for growing Pinot Meunier, which accounts for 80% of the vineyard’s grape varieties. A ninth-generation winemaker, Swann Aguilar discovered a label bearing the name Del’Hozanne-Guiborat in the family archives. He drew inspiration from it to launch his own brand of organic champagne, named Del’Ozart. Certified organic, the estate also holds Level 3 HVE certification and is recognized for sustainable viticulture in Champagne.
