Under the leadership of Erick De Sousa, the estate has been biodynamic for over ten years, and applies a parcel-based approach to the vineyard (10 ha), divided into 104 parcels of the best crus. Since 2020, his three children have been at the head of the estate. Charlotte is in charge of marketing, Julie is in the vines with her four draught horses, and Valentin is in the winery for blending. Their top-of-the-range cuvées - such as "Cuvée des Caudalies", "3A" and "Umami" - are particularly sought-after worldwide. Nonetheless, 40% of their champagnes are still distributed in France on fine tables or by independent wine merchants. A benchmark domaine.

Maison De Sousa has been working biodynamically for many years. It's not a marketing or economic choice, but one based on an ethic of conviction. Draft horses Vidoc, Capucine, Jasmin and Galopin plough the old vines to encourage microbial life, soil porosity and, by extension, grape quality. To highlight its cuvées and put champagne back at the heart of the plate, the House has teamed up with pastry chef Juliette Henry to create two desserts to match its champagnes, where each ingredient is designed to dialogue with a cuvée.
