Gault&Millau's review
Mathieu and Blandine Crété, brother and sister, represent the fifteenth generation of winegrowers. Vineyard work dates back to 1683 and the first vinifications to 1887. The 8-hectare estate was re-created in 2020 under Mathieu's impetus, and he has brought it back to life by delving into the family archives and elaborating the blends of the past (as in the "1683" and "1683 Origine" cuvées). Taking advantage of the fact that their vineyards are divided into 84 parcels spread over 11 villages, he has also designed cuvées that combine identity (such as the cuvée parcellaire "Les Mazaux", with its beautiful label embossed with the land register) and terroir diversity. An estate worth discovering.
