Southern aromas of fennel, honey and gingerbread are immediately apparent. The palate is chiselled by beautiful bubbles. We love the salty, almost saline edge of this Chardonnay, which, without claiming to seduce everyone, plays a confident, playful game. Rooty finish. Serve with pan-fried abalone.
