Gault&Millau's review
Established on just 3 ha, including one in the Avize Grand Cru, the domaine was created in 1970 as a récoltant-manipulant. Previously, the grapes were sold to the wine trade. Claude Corbon, a courageous visionary, forbade filtration and fining to preserve the character of his wines. At the same time, he began collecting vintages, which are carefully preserved in the wine library. In 2006, his daughter Agnès took up the torch, practicing sensible viticulture that respects the terroir (zero pesticides and virtually no herbicides). The soils are worked and the wines are left to rest for a long time in the cellar (a minimum of five years' ageing on lees).
