This cuvée from the 2008 harvest is representative of the vintage: powerful and well-balanced. A gourmet nose of stewed pear and citrus fruit is followed by a palate that is both powerful and fine, with crystalline bubbles and real wine vigor. The balanced finish calls for a fish starter, such as smoked salmon toast.

Charles Collin

Rooted for over 70 years in the Côte des Bar region, the company bears the name of one of its illustrious founders, and today represents over 140 winegrowers whose vines are spread over almost 330 ha. The vineyards, worked with great care, are planted predominantly with Pinot Noir, the grape variety emblematic of its terroir. Combined with Chardonnay, Charles Collin produces a variety of expressions with particular attention to ageing.
