This is the generic name of the champagnes sold by the cooperative winery created in 1956 by 22 members in Colombé-le-Sec. However, Charles Clément was the name of the founding member. Nowadays, it is composed of 59 winemakers harvesting 110 hectares spread on the slopes around Bar-sur-Aube.
