Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
The Locret family has been growing grapes since the 18th century, but it was in 1920 that Gaston Locret and his wife, Marie-Louise Lachaud, decided to begin selling their produce. Several generations have followed one another, and it is Charlotte, representing the fourth generation, who is continuing to develop the estate located in Hautvillers, the famous village where Dom Pérignon once lived. As both a grape-grower and winemaker, she produces three cuvées made from the three main grape varieties planted in their 7-hectare vineyard.
