Gault&Millau's review
2025 88/100
A lovely nose that evolves between marine freshness, almost iodized, and juicy white fruit. A hint of pollen, coriander seeds and verbena complete the bouquet. The dosage imposes itself on the palate, but the fresh structure overcomes this and leads to a finish with notes of white peach, pear and red apple, enhanced by sweet spices.

Locret-Lachaud

The Locret family has been growing grapes since the 18th century, but it was in 1920 that Gaston Locret and his wife Marie-Louise Lachaud decided to market their production. The Locret-Lachaud champagne brand was born. Several generations have followed, and it is now Charlotte, the fourth generation, who continues to develop the estate in the village of Hautvillers. Harvesting and handling, she produces three cuvées made from the three main Champagne grape varieties. The family home is open to visitors and also offers a gîte for rent.
