The history of Hilaire Leroux began in 1773 with Martin Leroux, who acquired vineyards in Chigny-Les-Roses. The know-how was passed down from generation to generation, culminating in the creation of the Champagne Hilaire Leroux et Fils brand by Hilaire Leroux in the early 20th century. Subsequently, Patrice Leroux and Pierre Friedlander, uncle and nephew, continued this tradition by founding EARL Champagne Hilaire Leroux & Fils in 2012. Independent winegrowers, they farm nearly 6 ha in premier cru, spread over five communes on the Reims mountain, and recently acquired a 20 ares parcel in grand cru on the Verzy terroir. They work with the three main Champagne grape varieties, and their cuvées are made exclusively from blends.
