This confidential cuvée (only 530 bottles produced) opens with a fruity roundness combined with the vivacity of rural white flowers to compose a lively, fresh and seductive bouquet that evolves towards more toasty notes. The rich, creamy texture coats the palate with aromas of ripe yellow fruit. Comforting and warm, but without any heaviness. The persistence is intense, with notes of orange brioche and a touch of chalk. Enjoy with aged Parmesan as an aperitif, or with creamy white fish.

Gabriel Merreaux

Le Champagne Merreaux est installé depuis quatre générations sur la commune de Nogent-l’Abbesse, dans la Marne. Christine Silvestre gère le domaine familial depuis 2000 avec son mari qui, lui, s’occupe de la partie commerciale. Depuis le début de leur activité, ils ont comme ligne conductrice un engagement pour l’environnement, tout en préservant un rendement moyen économiquement viable. Actuellement, ils n’utilisent aucun insecticide et sont en marche vers le zéro désherbant, avec 80% des surfaces qui n’en reçoivent plus.
