Didier Herbert
Established in Rilly-la-Montagne since 1920, the Herbert-Pechon family's main focus is on its Premier Cru vineyards in the villages of Rilly-la-Montagne and Ludes. It was in 1959, under the impetus of Fernand Herbert, that the house harvested its first vintage of champagne. His son Didier took over management in 1982 until his retirement. Since 2023, Thomas Herbert and his partner Marie-Charlotte have been running the estate. Passionate about their work, they bring out the best in the grapes from their 6 ha of vines, spread over 30 parcels in five premier and grand cru villages: Rilly-la-Montagne, Ludes, Trois-Puits, Mailly-Champagne and Verzenay.
