The mousse is dense and the gold color with silver highlights is quite deep. The bubbles are fine and lively in the glass. This is a champagne that, on the face of it, has pep. The nose is fine, playing the card of maturity and freshness around aromas of pear, peach, kiwi, rhubarb and lemon. Punctuated by a note of fresh bread. The attack is round with a floral honey flavor, then refreshed by lemon notes, to finish on a zesty side backed by minerality. More sophisticated than you might think, this wine is perfect for an entire meal.
