Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
Nathalie and Stéphanie have taken over from their parents at Briaux Lenique, founded in 1965 in the village of Mardeuil, 3 km from Épernay. They cultivate 4 hectares of vineyards, situated on clay-limestone slopes, half of which are planted with Meunier. Dedicated to their vineyard, they no longer use any herbicides and work in the cellar with small containers to separate the estate’s 21 plots and highlight the diverse character of each lieu-dit. The lineup currently consists of four “classic” cuvées and three vintage wines.
