The golden and green hues of the robe speak of freshness. Fine bubbles rise slowly up the chimney. The fine, subtle nose reveals aromas of candied citrus zest, wallflower, hawthorn, white pepper, cardamom and coffee beans. The aromatic framework is repeated on the palate, with a fresh, honeyed texture. The finish is full-bodied, zesty and long-lasting. A lovely champagne with an assertive personality, to be served with a fine fish with hollandaise sauce.
