Gault&Millau's review
Based in Bouzy, Benoît Lahaye, his sons (who have now joined him) and his wife produce wines of superb quality and consistency, using biodynamic methods for their 4.5 ha of vineyards and working the soil with draught horses. Very gastronomic, the champagnes combine finesse, presence and expressiveness. There's nothing predefined here, except the search for the best: dosage, cellaring time and blends are rethought every year. Benoît was elected Winemaker of the Year by our committee in 2021.
