Beautiful gold color for this Reserve from an old Montgueux chardonnay vineyard. The nose is full of macerated fruit, French toast and dried fruit, with a touch of wood. On the palate, the volume is impressively broad. This generosity combines savoriness and finesse with a spicy edge, to the delight of gourmets. This great wine, which retains a beautiful tension on the finish, immediately suggests a lovely poultry cooked in hay or served with a saffron sauce.

The cuvées are made from 45-year-old vines, mostly Chardonnays planted on clay-limestone soil from the Upper Cretaceous period. The Beaugrands have opted for integrated viticulture, favoring grass cover.
