Its very bright, pale gold color with golden highlights reveals a very delicate, but very present effervescence. The nose is intensely marked by poached pear with sweet spices and Timut pepper, followed by very ripe, even stewed peaches, with hints of candied yuzu. On the palate, the attack is precise, delicate and already with a touch of patina, thanks to the richness of the vintage and 7 years on laths before disgorging. It is dominated by the aromas of the nose, which gain in precision and generosity. A very fine bottle for laying down, with which you can already treat yourself, for example, with roasted langoustines with candied yuzu zest or a tartar of milk-fed veal and pears with sweet spices and a hint of Timut pepper.

Created in 2005, Barons de Rothschild champagne is the result of a unique alliance between the three branches of the Rothschild family, now represented by Philippe Sereys de Rothschild (Château Mouton Rothschild), Ariane (Château Clarke, Groupe Edmond de Rothschild), Éric and his daughter Saskia (Château Lafite Rothschild). The finesse of Chardonnay, the house's signature grape variety - mostly from the Grands Crus and Premier Crus -, extended ageing and the purity of minimal dosage are the pillars of the elaboration of this great Champagne wine. For the first time in their history, the Barons have joined forces to create a joint estate, and together develop their singular interpretation of a Grand Vin de Champagne combining the elegance of Chardonnay, extended ageing and the purity of a minimalist dosage.
