Champagne Barons de Rothschild is a relatively new brand on the French market. Created by the three branches of the Rothschild family, it is dynamically managed by Frédéric Mairesse, who comes from Jaboulet in the Rhône. Unsurprisingly, success has soared, with a clear increase in quality year on year. Based in Vertus, this small firm has access to the finest Chardonnays from the Côte des Blancs, and has made this grape variety, from premier and grand crus, its signature. The wines are aged for a long time before being sold.
