A superb introduction to the wines of Maison Penet with this elegant, thirst-quenching cuvée, delicately caressing on the palate. The wine is straightforward, ripe, rich and mature, with a patina typical of the blend of a young harvest (2018) with a perpetual reserve. Partial vinification in barrel lends structure to this wine, which unfurls its finesse and refreshing acidity throughout the tasting. A model aperitif wine that needs no dosage to reveal its balance.
