The fresh, minty nose opens with bright citrus fruit. After aeration, aromas of toast, cocoa, wild strawberry and a hint of menthol are revealed. The palate is very fresh, salivating, with a generosity of citrus and fine buttery notes that add sweetness. Although the mouthfeel lacks refinement, the balance is successful. This wine, like the well-dressed son-in-law meeting the family, presents itself well. We recommend decanting to release its full fruity and spicy potential.

A. Leconte

A family home in Troissy for six generations, not far from Dormans. Most of the vines are Pinot Meunier, but Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are gradually being added to the 40 plots that make up the 10-hectare vineyard. This richness of soil is exploited in parcel-based cuvées, for which Alexis Leconte, head of production, favors barrel vinification. The estate has been certified organic since 2023.
