The nose evokes wax, candied fruit and a bouquet of dried flowers, followed by almond, stone and brioche. A wine that's gripping from the outset: lively, invigorating, almost juicy, like a freshly squeezed clementine. The fine, precise bubbles intensify the lovely tension. A fine entry into the world of evolved champagnes, with a fleshy, lively and expressive palate. Serve with roast capon, for a great winter table.

A. D. Coutelas

A winegrowing family since 1809, Louis Victor Coutelas founded the Coutelas Champagne house. The family business, based in Dizy, has been handed down from generation to generation, with Damien Coutelas now at the helm, representing the 8th generation. It embodies a viticulture that is both rooted in tradition and rigorously modernized, with an emphasis on authenticity, quality and respect for ancestral methods. Manual tying with hemp rope continues, and the wines are vinified and aged in oak barrels and foudres.
