A charming nose of yellow fruit, honey and beeswax paves the way for a fine palate, marked by still-present but well-integrated ageing. The finish, taut and salivating, prolongs notes of fresh vanilla, marzipan and walnuts. A delicious, complex wine that would benefit from a little more cellaring to refine its balance.

A winegrowing family since 1809, Louis Victor Coutelas founded the Coutelas Champagne house. The family business, based in Dizy, has been handed down from generation to generation, with Damien Coutelas now at the helm, representing the 8th generation. It embodies a viticulture that is both rooted in tradition and rigorously modernized, with an emphasis on authenticity, quality and respect for ancestral methods. Manual tying with hemp rope continues, and the wines are vinified and aged in oak barrels and foudres.
