Antibes is undoubtedly the destination on the rise. In the heart of the French Riviera, its dreamy setting and the softness that reigns here, facing the Lérins Islands, plunge us into absolute serenity. The terrace offers one of the finest vantage points for a cocktail while admiring the sunset. The Relais & Châteaux-style service has adapted well to the codes of the Beach Club. However, you'll want to avoid tap-dancing shorts: "here, men wear jackets, and women have their legs covered". Yes, Chef! And yet everything here is soft and supple. The young team puts you at ease, and helps you choose from a real menu, with beautiful dishes inspired by the Mediterranean. Raw local peas and sea bream marinated in salt, like the small green asparagus from Mallemort, make a fine start. The red gamberoni, on the other hand, will soon be forgotten, despite the lovely lemon-scented heads. Let's get down to business: friend Tony's local catch is an invitation to travel in itself. Tonight, a beautiful sea bream, served with a white asparagus condiment and a Maltese-style rock soup with orange zest. Divine! And if you prefer earthy flavors, the Pays d'Oc farm-raised lamb noisette will be escorted by fennel and a saffron perfume. Save some room for desserts! The vanilla and citrus baba is drizzled at the table with homemade limoncello, accompanied by a very smooth vanilla cream. Expected prices for this quality, a chic and sincere stopover, with captain Nicolas Rondelli keeping a watchful eye on things.
