La Maison Bleue—“the chef’s”—as Yoann Conte still sometimes calls his mentor Marc Veyrat—has plenty of space and beauty for both of them. The proud five-toque restaurant that earned Yoann his title of Chef of the Year 2024 is joined by a second, lovely establishment nearby, Le Roc—also on the lake, also a work of art, in a slightly simpler style, but practically just as chic. At 120 and 160 €, with little information available since it’s spread “by word of mouth,” this is clearly a sum that loyal customers pay with a smile and confidence. There’s also a lunch menu for 85 €.
