Gault&Millau's review 2026

Housed in the former buildings of the Museum of Natural History, Julien Hennote's restaurant boasts an exceptional view over the Bay of Saint-Malo, and a tasteful contemporary setting, combining old stone with clean lines. Named after Commander Charcot's famous sailing ship, the restaurant is obviously a bit of a traveler, with a focus on the pleasures of the sea, which it unfolds in hidden and inspired menus, offering a fair interpretation of the region's terroir. From €95 to €135. Well-stocked cellar with many great references (R. Pouillon, Jacquesson, Leflaive, Girardin, Faiveley, Dureuil-Janthial, Thierry Germain, Bellivière, Dagueneau, Weinbach, La Mission Haut-Brion, Lafleur-Pétrus...).
