Gourmet Restaurant The menu at Le Balbec, the flagship restaurant of Le Grand Hôtel, is at once wise and contemporary, allowing diners to immerse themselves in the restaurant's highly distinctive universe (the sea, Le Grand Hôtel, Proust...) while having a good time. The range is wide, from classic Normandy dishes to trendy ingredients to build a worthy and interesting sequence: octopus carpaccio with citrus celery and cockles in vinaigrette, Normandy veal medallion with chanterelle mushrooms and sultana, petit épeautre cromesquis jus with cider, peach verbena and fennel from the good pastry chef Julien Alanièce. Chef Frédéric Lantéri also prepares fine fish (turbot, sole, lobster) with care and naturalness (in a salt crust, meunière...).
