Now that's what we call a sure thing. And in the minds of Avignonnais, this idea is quite clear: the experience of the Place Crillon in the beautiful Hotel de l'Europe is totally guaranteed. In the charming old house, with its attentive service, the dishes have the quality of their reputation: no frills, just mastery and taste in Pascal Auger's compositions: foie gras poached in a roots and chestnut broth, sea bass with star anise butter, Jerusalem artichoke, vanilla, broccoli marrow and juniper, Ségala veal and roasted celery coffee, tuberous chervil, mushroom ravioli, in a fine €74 menu, enhanced by a menu of classics (pâté croûte, salmon gravlax, tournedos with truffle juice...). Interesting and sometimes original desserts, such as chocolate and cauliflower, and an extensive wine cellar, expert in the region.
