Chef's Restaurant Just twenty minutes from Nantes, this venue embodies elegance and character, while offering an almost fairytale-like atmosphere. In a room with dark walls covered in climbing plants, beautifully lit and adorned with butterfly-patterned wallpaper, thick purple curtains add a theatrical touch. Attentive, unobtrusive service accompanies refined French cuisine featuring vegetables from the Ferme de Maubreuil, located at the heart of the estate (daikon radish ravioli, comté, carrot tops and lemon marmalade; pearly brill, potatoes and bok choy). While this emphasis on vegetables may sometimes seem a little excessive at the expense of delicacy (as with the squash-pineapple dessert), the fact remains that the majority of dishes, while remaining fairly classic, are seductive in their balance and generosity (poached foie gras with verjuice; vaporous meringue floating island spirit, toast custard). The attractive drinks menu stands out not only for its richness, but also for its relevance, offering original (orange wine) and local choices.
