Gault&Millau's review 2025

The Brasserie de la Gaude, or rather the second table, is simpler and less ambitious, but has its own character and purpose. It is a well-deserved success, thanks to its relevance to the times, both in terms of its food and its provincial club atmosphere, which attracts a strong clientele of regulars. Good products, a winning team, a sort of "Pourcelian" ease in making things chic and good: corn croquettes with Cajun sauce and Iberian ham to share as tapas, fresh and pleasant mimosa egg with asparagus and tuna ventrèche, pork sausage and octopus hot dog style, very good Aubrac beef well seasoned with clever desserts like the "strawberry flower" or the pistachio raspberry delicacy.
