Gault&Millau's review

14/20
Chef's Restaurant Anton aubergiste! It's the address everyone's been raving about for the past few months, bringing together top and mid-range chefs, and crowds of curious onlookers who've come to see this URO, an unidentified restaurant object, opposite the five-toque gastro of our Cuisinier de l'Année 2025. Here, a country house in the woods, entirely fitted out in a farmer's spirit, decorated with superb pieces, copper pots and pans, silverware, slab cars and antique furniture found in the storerooms of Le Pré and Maison Lenôtre. Here, happy as a child with a new toy, Frédéric Anton, freed from his MOF collar and conventions, and supported by a team of excellence, gives pleasure by pleasing himself, with a totally exciting menu, somewhere between a bourgeois bistro and the Guérard's Ferme aux Grives. You'll want to try everything, and that's only to be expected: country terrine with foie gras, parsley-glazed ham, addictive gazpacho, skate with beurre blanc, delicious cod fingers with tartar sauce, lamb sauté with its irresistible purée, stuffed tomatoes and zucchini so well stuffed... The service is top-notch, as is the service in front of the restaurant, and the wine list is adapted and still being developed, as are the equally gourmet desserts (if you dive into the rhubarb clafoutis or the strawberry meringue and cream, you won't be able to put them down...).
