Gault&Millau's review2026
The place was magical, and it remains so. When the Provencal sun plays with the roofs of Bonnieux before gently setting behind the hills of the Luberon, the moment deserves every wish for happiness. The setting of this bastide, preserved and embellished, helps visitors immerse themselves in the region and inspire them to sample its treasures. Now part of the Beaumier group, it offers a well-standardized gastronomy, hand-sewn by the experienced Noël Bérard: Roussillon snails with pastis, carrot with bottarga, Mexican tarragon, pearly langoustine, fennel and peach with basil, grilled Sarrians pigeon, turnip with goat's milk and marjoram, gratin stuffing in a fine Luberon menu at €185, rounded off by the subtle marriage of Nyons olive and chocolate. Extensive Cavé, serving the whole region and, by extension, the Rhône.
