Remarkable Restaurant The service of a grand house, attention to detail, hard work in the kitchen, in a 49 € lunch menu that includes mineral water, two glasses of wine and coffee, this is without doubt the best deal you can find in this standing. Of course, the Hôtel de la Cité and its fine machinery also deserve to be frequented for large dinners, but we recently opted for this unbeatable formula which also showcases the work of excellent chef Jérôme Ryon. More or less innocuous appetizers (but we still remember the marinated beef and salicornia), a simple and successful starter, a blend of melting endive, truffled York ham, a light bethmale béchamel, grated truffles ; veal cheek confit and au gratin with Orloff, pumpkin gnocchi, soubise and porcini mushrooms, a blanquette cream that is both technical and comforting, before the dessert of saint-marcellin and chestnut confit with smoked vanilla. A well-stocked wine list, very classic and consensual, with an emphasis on the Languedoc-Roussillon region, which underlines curiosity, as evidenced by the section "Symphony of rare and forgotten grape varieties in Occitania", alongside more classic choices from other regions.
