Gault&Millau's review 2025

Ideally located in the heart of the old town of Carcassonne (a UNESCO World Heritage site), this legendary hotel is housed in the former bishop's palace, which backs onto the Basilica of Saint-Nazaire. Guests come here to savor the charms of this rare place, which blends medieval architecture and Art Deco spirit, with 59 ultra-spacious rooms and suites, decorated with 1920s furniture and enriched by English inspirations.
