Gault&Millau's review 2026

An excellent Tarbais address for lovers of good food, with originality and consistency from a sharp, ever-evolving chef. Manuel Godet renews himself, takes care of his regulars and always manages to win them over at the right price: crunchy tartelette, winter vegetables in citrus vinaigrette, brandade and prawn cromesquis, guacamole and young vegetable shoots, long-braised pork cheeks, perfectly cooked, paprika-spiked gravy, vegetables of the moment and yellow beet chips, pear poached in a delicate fennel syrup, pear in jelly, light cream with Crau PDO hay, fennel crumble, Sichuan pepper ice cream. Cosy setting, young front-of-house team, making progress despite a few small shortcomings, well-varied cellar with a sufficient selection by the glass at low prices.
