The table de la Réserve is a good refuge for residents, who enjoy the beautiful ocean view and the nicely old-fashioned atmosphere with codified service showing its desire to do well. A new chef has arrived and is making his mark while respecting the place and its history: the plates are cautious, the veal, mimosa vinegar, cockles, walnuts, sabayon is a fresh starter where the marine element is not decisive, the poached brill, rouille, carrots, orange is disappointingly flat, and the dark chocolate, cocoa, black olives finds a good toqué level. A generalist cellar at reasonable prices.
