Remarkable Restaurant Excellence, gourmandise, generosity, elegance... This XVIIᵉ century house, which bears witness to the city's rich past and has been beautifully renovated without betraying its history, never disappoints. Jérémie Le Calvez, whom we've been following for a long time, confirms that he carries the colors of Breton gastronomy high. Using local resources, the rhythm of the tides and the seasons, he composes chiselled, energetic dishes, charged with gustatory emotions. This is how the bay's wild abalone, so subtle, is adorned with a sweet and salty emulsion of shellfish and ribot milk, accompanied by autumn mushrooms. The Breton and marine journey continues with a barbecued lobster from Batz Island, the smoky notes never overpowering the delicate meat. The sand carrots from Santec add a slight sweetness, and the addictive sauce (carrot-orange-ginger) gives an idea of the happiness... A dish worthy of 4 toques! We should also mention the tourteau de Roscoff, which goes so well with celery, far noir and green apple, or the saint pierre, which is doped with mussels from Pénestin and squash... As for dessert, it's incisive and brilliant, combining buckwheat shortbread, chocolate, Breton whisky and salted butter caramel ice cream... Brittany is so beautiful! In the dining room, the smiling and thoughtful Jessica leads a highly committed team, as does the sommelier, who suggests without ever imposing, drawing from a delightful cellar. And what's more, you can treat yourself without breaking the bank!
