Chef's Restaurant In front of Anne-Sophie Pic's grand restaurant, the tribute to her grandfather offers a range of pleasures, in a warm, wood-dominated setting. These are the pleasures of a chef's bistro, that rare kind that reconciles old-fashioned cooking with modernity, without distorting or daubing with embellishments: the Ardèche trout cake finds length in the mouth in its association with smoked haddock, and a touch of bitterness perfectly measured out thanks to the endive sauce. The wild boar, treated like a local carbonade, is a gourmet dish to remember, with meat as tender as the pavlova, a fine exercise. A fine cellar, with an appreciable choice by the glass.
