Prestige Restaurant The nature interlude offered by Christophe Aribert in his splendid contemporary chalet is not a mere detail, but a real message, a pastoral symphony. Born and bred in the Isère region, a lover of the mountains and legitimately proud of what these fertile landscapes have to offer, thanks to the hand of man, the man who owns one of the finest collections of Chartreuse in the country knows how to welcome city dwellers and the curious from all over, inviting them to take a break in his own universe, through a few memorable dishes: Arctic char in a variety of textures, topped with char roe smoked on site, begins superbly, before trout - one of his signature dishes - here on a vegetable parsley coulis accompanied by gourmet peas delicately scented with freshly picked mint. Vegetables are at the heart of the action with carrots combined with truffles, and the desserts have the same surprising harmony, for example when cucumber meets strawberry. Very well-coordinated service, complete cellar from a connoisseur with a passion.
