Gault&Millau's review 2026

It’s not quite the opulent splendor of thirty years ago, but the Céladon is regaining its color (celadon), its vibrancy, and its chic—just as all those nostalgic for this iconic restaurant had hoped. The menu is still fairly conservative and limited, but the dishes are elegant and tasteful: warm foie gras glazed with elderflower, sole with champagne butter and barbecued pak choi, lamb ballotine with marjoram, and a delicate eggplant tart with harissa. The service is just right, the atmosphere is a touch stuffy, and the prices are still reasonable.
