Chef's Restaurant This is perhaps the favorite address of lifelong Avignonnais: the Hôtel de l'Europe is a luxurious haven and the Vieille Fontaine a faithful representation of Provence, refinement and charm. At the table, Pascal Auger brings a broad palette to his technique, which is firmly established and never off-key. The festive menus are particularly festive, with a dedicated menu featuring a strong emphasis on plants, and seasonal compositions garnish a very fine €135 formula (or five courses at €150): scallops with citron butter, heliantis and chili pepper, venison fillet with pepper sauce and parsley mousseline, chocolate cardamom ice cream with vanilla coffee mousse. Service in the good rhythm of such a house, Rhone cellar rich in great wines, especially Châteauneufs.
