Chef's Restaurant Admittedly, it's used as a sign and Jean-François Piège gives the recipe, but all the same, this poule au pot is a delight! Served for two at €96, with its chicken sauce, it would bring tears of happiness to the eyes of the most sensitive. This indispensable establishment is one of the five-toque chef's greatest successes. Hidden between Châtelet and Les Halles, it attracts all lovers of French cuisine, unique in its sauces and products, and the savoir-faire of its great chefs, right up to the modern world of JF Piège. Start with hors d'oeuvres, pâté croûte and snails. If you're familiar with chicken, try confit, shepherd's pie or rack of lamb for two. And if you're still feeling greedy, finish off with the grand dessert: it's all very impressive, whatever the price (expect to pay around a hundred euros).
