Chef's Restaurant The venue is truly magnificent, as are the surroundings, on the edge of the Brionnais region, amidst perfectly rolling green hills. Under the high framework, rough stone, thick beams and a large fireplace set the scene for a grandiose peasant picnic orchestrated by the Troisgros family. Under this label, you can be sure that the food is not confined to the terroir, or even a little popu. And while the soup of the day is served on the farm, this is far from a village café, with tables booked well in advance by leaving a bank imprint, while the relatively modest price of the single menu (€49) nevertheless attracts a well-represented local clientele. This rustic chic approach has a number of good points when it comes to serenely appreciating the menu of the moment proposed by Léo Troisgros and his young team: veal battuta with anchovies and herbs, julienne in saltimbocca, with its well-presented and controlled acidity, accompanied by vinegared rice, plates that don't hide the family's Italian-Japanese predilections, before the kindly and simple arlette on strawberry and apple. A well-exposed, varied and interesting cellar, in a well-targeted price range.
