Chef's Restaurant The long-standing reputation of this chic forest house is well established. Fabien Mengus, whose talent is well known, is also loyal to his region and to this house, which exemplifies a certain Alsatian art of living. With his wife Laure, he brings the Arnsbourg legend to life in a beautiful way, and builds appropriate and well-structured menus (there's even a Seniors Prestige formula at €105 for the over-60s at lunchtime). The 95 € formula (Partition) makes a fine introduction with foie gras grillé voile tanaisie sabayon champignon artichoke confit, canette challandaise and turnip declension, strawberries d'Alsace olive noir panna cotta de fromage blanc citronné sorbet livèche. A strong cellar for all regions, particularly Alsace, and service of the required standard.
