Remarkable Restaurant We never doubted it, but four years after taking over from Patrick Jeffroy, Nicolas Carro has proved he has the shoulders and the talent to keep this fine house among the regional leaders. Olivier Nasti's former right-hand man has quickly found his feet, the Costarmorican from a farming family. His cuisine is full of meaning, sincerity and respect for small-scale producers. His €79 discovery menu is an excellent choice, with "La baie de Carantec dans l'esprit d'un kig ha farz" (Carantec Bay in the spirit of a kig ha farz), iodized seafood against a background of local produce, incoming fish with a declination of white asparagus, rib-eye steak from Léon and new carrots with coffee grounds before the winning combination of strawberry and vanilla arugula from Réunion Island. The view has lost none of its attraction, of course, and the wine cellar, while not taking many risks, does offer some lovely bottles at affordable prices. After closing its doors for several months at the end of 2023 for a major renovation campaign, the establishment reopened in the summer of 2024.
