Gault&Millau's review 2026

In the heart of the Lot region, Patrick Duler makes it a point of honor to use ingredients that are as local as possible—including truffles from his own truffle oaks during truffle season. A family business in every sense of the word: Pascale offers a warm welcome, their daughter handles front-of-house service, and their son works in the kitchen at this 15th-century farmhouse. The meal—unique and off the beaten path—is priced at €147, a premium price point for authentic and generous traditional cuisine, the most memorable highlight of which is the ham aged for sixty months on-site, with remarkable intensity. Next up: semi-cured duck foie gras, filet mignon prepared in the style of a brioche sausage, and a soufflé for dessert. Open only for dinner, by reservation only.
