Chef's Restaurant A chatelaine outing for the Isérois, who appreciate the setting as much as the cuisine of this pleasant residence at the foot of the feudal castle north of Saint-Marcellin. Chrystèle and Xavier Vanheule uphold a certain art of good living, with good manners and the appropriate touch of solemnity. The attractive €56 menu is convincing and worthy of the toques, with home-smoked Murgat trout or tartar of veal and eel with Piedmont hazelnuts and feta, rabbit marbled with tomato and pine nuts with pistou jus court, peach and Madagascar vanilla entremets with verbena. Classic, well-organized cellar, attentive service.
